This is a detailed scientific article just explaining what Colloidal Silver is and how it works.

The internet is a full of positive and negative information. It holds a black hole of facts and coverups. Here I will provide you with the simple facts of what is it, how its made and the theories behind how it works. My name is Meadow, and I'm the owner of Jamison Pastures. I've been on the path of trying to find natural ways to help my family, myself, and my animals. With five kids and a farm, I would love to help everyone heal with things I have on hand, things I can grow from the earth, and things I can make. When it comes to skin issues and injuries for both animals and humans, the resounding answer is colloidal silver. So...

What is it? What does it do? How do I use it?

What is it?

Colloidal silver consists of nanoparticles of silver suspended in steam distilled water. Nanoparticles is defined as a particle that is less than 100 nanometers in size and invisible to the naked eye. Colloidal silver is created by passing a low voltage electrical current through two rods of .9999 fine silver rods, driving tens of millions of tiny sub-microscopic silver particles into the distilled water, suspending them via an electrical charge, called the electro-colloidal process, creating a high quality ionic colloidal silver solution.

What does it do?

Silver has been used for centuries in medicine dating back to the Han dynasty in China in 1500 BC. Today, colloidal silver is used as an alternative medicine to ward off bacteria, fungi, and viruses. But, how? Silver ions get released from the silver particles upon contact with moisture, such as bodily fluids. The silver ions then attach themselves to proteins on the cell walls of bacteria, damaging their membrane. This allows the silver ions to pass into bacterial cells, interfering with metabolic processes and damaging its DNA, causing the cells death and preventing the virus's replication. Colloidal silver has and is being used as an all purpose remedy for various infections and illness due to its antimicrobial properties.

How do I use it?

There are multiple ways to use Colloidal silver. The number one way it is used is as a topical treatment to soothe the skin and speed up the healing process. It is said to help reduce inflammation and redness. Simply spray it on the skin and allow it to air dry. Use it on acne, psoriasis and eczema, skin infections, rashes, skin wounds and scrapes, in bandages and dressings in the treatment of burns, and to assist in the reduction of symptoms of topical steroid withdrawal.
